Welcome to Eugene for Energy Choice, a community coalition formed in response to the Eugene City Council’s action to ban natural gas in new homes in Eugene. Thanks to overwhelming support, Eugene voters will have a voice – and a vote – for energy choice. We collected nearly 13,000 signatures – nearly twice what was required – to send the city council’s ban on natural gas in new homes to the ballot on November 7, 2023. We are grateful to everyone who made this possible.
